FireMate wins 2022 Innovation Award

Standards Australia recognises FireMate’s ground-breaking access to the Australian Standards™

FireMate’s pioneering integration of the Australian Standards™ into our fire protection maintenance software was recognised at an award ceremony in Melbourne on 26 May. FireMate’s Managing Director, Rob Thomas, was named the Standards Australia Innovation Award winner for 2022.

This award recognises those who have championed new and better ways to deliver the Australian Standards™ to end-users, where that innovation meets a clear need and benefits the community and industry. Winners of this award demonstrate the vision to imagine disruptive change and the drive to deliver it.

The integration is a global first that saves time when inspecting and maintaining fire protection equipment and ensures the correct application of the relevant and current standards. Prompts from within the FireMate Mobile App directly assist fire protection maintenance teams in inspecting life-saving equipment in buildings and facilities.
