Lead Developer

Key accountabilities
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining the next-generation FireMate preventive maintenance web platform
- Lead a team of Developers with a hands-on approach to development, coaching, mentoring, and providing technical guidance to your team
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and other stakeholders to ensure that the required business scenarios are engineered in alignment with the product roadmap
- Promote quality using code best practices and test-driven development
- Responsible for always ensuring system availability and performance are at the top of the priority list
Skills and experience
- 7+ years of experience in software development working on customer-facing web applications
- Proven experience leading high-performing development teams with mentoring and coaching on best practices
- A high degree of expertise with Modern JavaScript Frameworks with experience working in Vue.js
- Experience in deploying modern apps on a major cloud platform (Azure or similar)
- A high degree of skill in constructing database queries with experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
- A good understanding of Test-Driven development tooling, capability and approaches
